The National Bridge Inventory database

The National Bridge Inventory database is maintained by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration. The National Institute of Computer-Assisted Reporting obtains the data annually and cleans, processes it and sells it to journalists for a reduced rate and to non-journalists at a market price.
