Stephanie Balters New CARS Fellow

Stephanie Balters has been named the 2018-19 CARS Fellow for her research using unobtrusive sensors and interventions for in-car stress management during the commute. Stephanie is a postdoctoral scholar with the Stanford School of Medicine, Pervasive Wellness Technology Lab which is part of the Precision Health and Integrated Diagnostics Center. She has a Ph.D. in Engineering Design, Mechanical Engineering Specialization from Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Her advisor is Pablo Paredes, Instructor,  Precision Health and Integrated Diagnostics Center at Stanford.

The CARS Postdoctoral Fellowship recognizes outstanding recent Ph.D. graduates who are exploring new research directions in social or technical dimensions of transportation.
