Workshop on Governance of Automated Vehicles

On October 20, CARS will host along with NHTSA and the UN Economic Commission for Europe Working Party 1 an all-day workshop at VAIL on governance issues associated with automated vehicles. NHTSA, WP1 and governing bodies around the world share an interest in the range of options that might be available for carrying out the traditional government safety assurance functions and other administrative roles with respect to self-driving vehicles.
