Jan Becker is Co-Founder of Apex.AI Inc and Managing Director of Apex.AI GmbH and Co-Founder and Director of the Autoware Foundation. Prior to founding Apex.AI, Jan was Senior Director Automated Driving at Faraday Future and previous to that Director at Robert Bosch LLC responsible for Automated Driving in North America. Jan developed ME302B: Driver Assistance and Automated Driving which he has been teaching in winter quarter since 2010. Jan brings deep technical expertise in driver assistance, automated driving, vehicle safey systems, personal robotics and shared autonomy. He was a visiting scholar at Stanford's Artifical Intelligence Lab and a member of the Stanford Racing Team for the 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge.
