We travel back to the future for the introduction of MARTY, Stanford’s electric, autonomous, drifting DeLorean unveiled on Oct 20, 2015. With the goal of developing automated vehicles capable of maneuvering out of harms way, Prof. Chris Gerdes and team are working on collision avoidance by going sideways for controllability.
