Large infrastructure projects like the Central Artery/Tunnel Project (Big Dig) and Cypress Street Viaduct have transformed the urban landscape of cities bringing together neighborhoods and reconfiguring transportation systems. In this talk, we explore the complexities of coordinating policy at multiple levels of government, budgets, environmental and other obstacles as well as thinking about future urban environments and space usage for not only current but new modes of transportation.
