By 2050, population in the world’s cities is expected to double. The Stanford King Center on Global Development supports research uncovering best practices for future urbanization. King Center faculty also focus on urban transit such as the ongoing effects of a new bus rapid transit (BRT) system in Tanzania including on low-income residents living near the bus line.
