This interactive map developed by the American Energy Society and Sally Benson, Precourt Family Professor along with a former student of Benson's, Scott Jespersen, is a useful tool to innovators for the energy transition. The Bay Area includes: 88 incubators or accelerators for new energy ventures; 66 manufacturing sites for EVs, batteries, fuel cells and other energy efficient and sustainable mobility; 200 energy investment funds; 177 companies involved in solar and wind power, 43 working on utility-scale generation and transmission for a total of 1,500 entities.
